Musical Instrument Bank
The CCAC cleans and repairs donated musical instruments to be used by students in the Carroll County School System. The refurbished instruments are donated directly to the schools and the teachers then distribute them to students in need. Priority is given to children from households with combined incomes of under $30,000 per year, however, extenuating circumstances are considered as well.
Instrumental Music Teachers may request instruments that they need for a specific student or a general loaner bank at their school. Please contact your child’s instrumental music teacher if you would like them to request an instrument for your child. Home school students only may apply directly to the Arts Council for an instrument.
If you have an instrument to donate, please bring it to the Arts Council during normal business hours. You will be given a receipt for income tax purposes and the satisfaction of knowing you have helped a child experience the joys of music.
Instrumental Music Teachers may download the Musical Instrument Bank Application to request an instrument for their school or a particular student. |
